Amplifiying the Voices of Sex Workers in Asia mid-term review meeting in Bangkok
In July 2022, three (3) members of the ADPWL team participated in a mid-term project review of Amplifiying the Voices of Sex Workers in Asia (VOICE Project), hosted by Asia Pacific Network of Sex Workers (APNSW) in Bangkok, Thailand.
ADPWL, under the leadership of Executive Director BouaKham Sythavong, and with the financial and technical support of APNSW, undertakes all VOICE Project activities in Lao.
As a VOICE Project national partner, ADPWL was invited to share our experience implementing the VOICE Project in Lao.
Key objectives of the VOICE Project mid-term review sought to:
● Achieve an understanding of project progress to inform the development of strategic planning towards project goals
● Achieve an understanding of the human rights situation of sex working communities across the region
● Connect and link national partners across VOICE-supported projects
